About your trainer:Michael JenkinsIn 2003, at the age of 48, I was diagnosed as being at high risk for heart disease. My doctor challenged me to lower my cholesterol and triglycerides, and lose weight. I was to eat a balanced healthy diet and exercise. I was not allowed pills and could not consider surgery. I was over 100 pounds overweight. Through reading and research I began to learn more about the human body and how it responds to a healthy lifestyle. By 2004, I lost 100 lbs. Through further healthy lifestyle changes, I lost an additional 30 lbs. As a result, I wanted to help others. I studied through the “International Sport Sciences Association”, and in 2009 received my certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer. I Received my certification as Specialist in Fitness Nutrition in 2011. I am uniquely qualified to help you improve your health and manage weight. |
